Salisbury, NC — June 27, 2025 — SolarPanelRecycling.com, a pioneering force in U.S. photovoltaic (PV) recycling, today announced it has officially rebranded to SPR. The new name and logo reflect what customers, media, and partners have already come to call the company, while underscoring SPR’s rapid growth and continued leadership in high-purity, circular solar panel recycling.
After launching aggressive R&D investments in 2018, SPR introduced its public-facing brand SolarPanelRecycling.com in 2023 to help establish and educate a rapidly growing industry. Since then, the company has:
- Scaled nationally: Actively sourced and processed utility-scale PV projects across the country. SPR rapidly developed and brought online state-of-the-art recycling facilities in North Carolina, Georgia, and Texas, with two additional regional plants slated to launch in the next 12 months.
- Advanced the science: Developed proprietary separation technologies that recover aluminum, glass, silicon, and precious metals at high purity levels—enabling true recycling.
- Shaped policy & perception: Briefed state and federal legislators, and continued to deliver key presentations at RE+, Intersolar, and American Clean Power’s national conferences, while serving as a trusted technical voice at PV Magazine USA Week, SEIA working groups, and other regional industry events.
“When we entered the market as ‘SolarPanelRecycling.com,’ the goal was simple: be easy to find and educate a nascent industry,” said Brett C. Henderson, CEO. “Today, the industry knows us as SPR. Our new brand captures that familiarity while signaling the same relentless commitment to innovation, compliance, and service.”
SPR’s dedicated team and core ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certifications remain unchanged. The company is currently planning recycling campuses five and six in new U.S. markets to meet surging national demand for responsible end-of-life solar solutions.
